Natural England is a non-departmental public body. Our statutory purpose is to ensure that the natural environment is conserved, enhanced, and managed for the benefit of present and future generations, thereby contributing to sustainable development.
Natural England does not require consultation on call for sites as we do not put forward sites, land or buildings that could have the potential for housing. Once further work develops on which sites will be taken forward for allocation please consult Natural England so we can offer advice on their suitability with regard to impacts on and opportunities for the natural environment.
