Yes, greater clarity on the regional issues is required by providing a regional map in addition to Plan 2, showing the geographical spread of quarries and safeguarded resources in Nottinghamshire and neighbouring counties. This broader regional map is required to demonstrate the relationship between sources and markets regionally. It should mark safeguarded areas, regional active/permitted/dormant sites, river crossings and important freight and river transport routes.
