Having several tons of minerals passing daily over a long period exceeds the impact of having this over a short period whilst building takes place.
When a new site is being considered the environmental impact of establishing new transport links should also be included.
I am unconvinced about the commitment to barge transport; but if agreed must be compulsory on the operator
