The policy is not complete. My concern is the clay extraction at Woodborough Lane. Clay retains a lot of water. Removing that much clay will leave now here for that water to go but down into the valley and into Woodborough; a village that is prone to flooding. This will be exacerbated by effectively cutting away one half of a hill top thus pulling water from the remaining side. Digging out Dorket Head increased the water flowing to homes down hill from it. This will do the same for Woodborough. The policy should address hill top impacts on down-stream flow.
