Draft Nottinghamshire Minerals Local Plan
Representation ID: 31134

CAGE agrees with the importance for the County and region to have areas of mineral resources designated for safeguarding and consultation on development. It feels that these should be published and transparent on a coordinated regional basis, since mineral deposits, habitats, landscapes and people's lives do not stop at County borders. Plan 4 should therefore show relevant features up to 20 miles into adjacent Counties, and those within the boundary of Nottingham City.
3.86 CAGE requests information on what is considered to be 'on the urban fringe' and an inappropriate location for minerals extraction.
