CAGE supports the policy. Waterways outside of Nottinghamshire also create flood risks for areas close the county border. There are also issues with run off from fields and hard surfaces. However, flood risk areas within sites should be assessed reasonably and not used as an excuse to push tall and noisy plant closer to site exits, settlements or other vulnerable features.
