Question 8, Key characteristics of Nottinghamshire been adequately described?: No. There should be information about the current number of people employed by the minerals industry in Nottinghamshire. Mineral jobs should be broken down between direct site workers and HGV drivers. For example, the Lincolnshire Local Minerals Plan 2016, indicated that in 2010, there were 268 jobs in Lincolnshire involved with mineral extraction - 179 direct employees, 13 contractors and 75 drivers, these being split almost equally between limestone and sand and gravel extraction. The 2014 minerals employment for Nottinghamshire (PA1007) was 96 direct employees, 41 contractors and 252 drivers.
