The overview is accurate and concise. An indication of the scale of future population and housing growth would be useful context as these factors are likely to lead to more waste. A reference to the Greater Nottingham Strategic Plan now in preparation would be useful, which also has a plan period of 2038. This plan will set out the amount and distribution of new development to 2038 and has been produced jointly by Greater Nottingham Councils and both Waste Planning Authorities are partners to this joint working.
