We believe that the likely scenarios are either A or B due to factors including Brexit and Covid-19 which are expected to have a significant impact on the UK economy in the short to medium-term. Should measures from the Resource and Waste Strategy come to fruition this will also likely contribute to a reduction in waste per household as people become more aware of the waste they are throwing away, particularly in the case of food waste.
