11. Next steps
11.1After the consultation closes on Monday the 9th of November 2026 at 17:00, we will begin to process and consider your representations on the issues above.
11.2How we have considered your feedback and taken this into account will be detailed in a summary of scoping consultation responses document. This will be published after our gateway 1 self-assessment document is made available as per the regulations[4]. As indicated in our timetable, our gateway 1 self-assessment is planned to be published by the 16th of April 2027.
11.3Prior to publishing our gateway 1 self – assessment, we are currently planning to undertake a call for sites early in 2027. This is the opportunity for operators and landowners to submit sites to be considered for allocation in the plan to meet future mineral need. Further information on the dates and information we will need to assess sites will be provided on our webpage.
11.4You will be able to comment on the plan content, which will include a draft vision, spatial strategy and potentially draft policies, at the next consultation stage which is currently planned for November 2027. Please note that these dates are subject to change and the local plan timetable webpage should be checked for any updates.
